As the stormy 2011 summer winds down, the East Coast continues to recover from the effects of Hurricane Irene. Nearly every state along the coast was hit with damaging winds and torrential rain, prompting President Obama to declare several disaster areas. Vermont communities were included in some of those declarations, and have received disaster assistance from the IRS as well.
