HUD Provides Disaster Relief Following Hurricane Irene

A couple of weeks ago, the East Coast of the United States became the focus of meteorologists and newscasters as Hurricane Irene slowly churned its way along the Eastern seaboard. Communities from North Carolina to New Hampshire felt the effects of hurricane force winds and torrential rain. Earlier this week, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) stepped in to help with recovery efforts.
