HUD Allocates Funding for Public Housing

A few weeks ago, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released a report which stated that a large number of the nation's public housing units are in need of "large-scale" repairs like new roofs and updated plumbing or electrical systems. The report estimated that completed all the necessary repairs would cost nearly $26 billion.
