New Law Adds $1 Billion to the Neighborhood Stabilization Program

A new housing-related bill was signed into law today. The Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010 includes a provision that allocates $1 billion for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. Based on the continued prevalence of home foreclosures, the funding is needed.
